Our common sense strategy is designed to reduce the amount of renewable's required to offset the homes energy needs, which in some cases can result in the homeowners being able to sell energy back to the utility.

One of the most important aspects of an energy-efficient home is air control. This is achieved in part by ensuring an exceptionally tight building envelope and properly installed and tested mechanical systems.

We perform detailed energy modeling during design and thorough performance testing throughout construction.

HERS (Home Energy Rating System): HERS has become the industry standard for energy performance rating and is measured on a scale of 150 to 0, zero being the most efficient.

The U.S. Department of Energy has determined that typical homes have HERS scores as shown below:
